In our commitment to delivering quality IT services, we establish the following minimum standards. These standards define the prerequisites for operating systems, hardware, applications, and their respective versions or patch levels, and other related components. Adhering to these standards is mandatory for effective and efficient service delivery.
1. COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS:
- Should not exceed the manufacturer warranty period (eg. 1-year or 3-year term)
- Must possess an SSD or any premium storage disks.
- Must operate on a supported Operating System (Windows 10 or newer).
- All devices must be company-owned with a Modern Desktop support agent installed.
- Equipment should be appropriate for its intended purpose. SOHO (Small Offices and Home Offices) equipment will not be supported.
2. NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE:
For network equipment including, but not limited to, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage, and Printers:
- Should not exceed 5 years from the date of manufacture.
- Must be under a valid hardware replacement warranty.
- Require to have an active support subscription.
3. MICROSOFT SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS:
For clients utilizing Microsoft software, the following minimum versions and patch levels apply:
- Microsoft Exchange: at least 2016 and above.
- Microsoft SQL Server: at least 2019 and above.
- Microsoft Office: at least 2016 and above (including Microsoft 365).
We shall extend support exclusively to Microsoft Technologies within the Microsoft Lifecycle. A comprehensive list can be accessed at: Microsoft Lifecycle Products.
4. SOFTWARE STANDARDS:
- All software must be licensed appropriately and remain compliant.
- Must be updated to the version and build recommended by the vendor.
- An active support subscription must cover software.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT PROVISIONS:
While we strive to provide support for items outside these minimum standards, the decision to do so, and potential additional charges for such services, remain at our sole discretion.
MODIFICATION OF STANDARDS:
Be advised, these standards may be modified periodically, reflecting technological advancements and obsolescence.
By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to abide by the stipulations of this IT Service Minimum Standards Agreement. Any non-conformity to these standards may affect the quality and scope of the IT services rendered.
